Brenda did an excellent job for us.  Being from out of town, we were short on time when trying to find a home to purchase.  She spent two solid days taking us through dozens of properties (on a holiday weekend).  She was extremely organized and efficient with our search.  We found the perfect property and she took over from there.  She handled everything in a timely fashion, constantly updating us on the next steps to come.  She knew what needed to be done and took care of it before we even had to ask.  She took it upon herself to send us pictures of the items the home inspector made note of.  That was extremely helpful and unexpected.  We were able to see exactly what the inspector was talking about, without having to be there.  She has a great personality, which is important when you spend two solid days in a vehicle together.  We would recommend her to anyone.

While still living in California, we made the decision to purchase a home in Kennewick, with the help of a real estate agent.  We knew that we would have to find a special agent who was willing to put in the extra work involved with assisting clients long distance.  It was our good fortune that you were one of the agents that responded to our inquiry.  When it was time to choose an agent, you were clearly the right choice.  You spent the time to understand what we wanted, and you asked many questions.  Brenda, from that first conversation, until the day we finally met you (months later) when you handed over the keys to our new home, you were in a word, extraordinary.  You knew exactly when to lean in and offer help, and when to give us some space or time to think things through.  You followed up (with amazing speed) to all of our inquires, no matter how big or small.

Your easy-going manner, and high level of organization and professionalism put us at ease from the beginning.  You worked so hard to provide us with the information we needed to make an educated decision.  When the time came to put in the offer on a home we felt a high level of comfort in the decision.  You worked for us during both the Thanksgiving, and Christmas holidays.  We felt so bad that offers we made on homes always seemed to coincide with a major holiday.  You were so generous with your time, and provided us with the same high level of service, no matter what day of the year it was.

As we had a home to sell in California, there was a point in the process where it looked as though we would not be able to purchase our new home.  We had actually advised you to notify the Seller that we would not be able to satisfy the contingency to sell our home in California, and that the Seller could accept the back up offer he had on the property.  We felt completely defeated.  The wind knocked out of our sails.  Then you, our earth-bound guardian angel, made a suggestion that turned out to be the "golden ticket".  You saved the deal.  Brenda, if it weren't for you doing some leg work; making some phone calls; and offering a suggestion to us that was quite logical, but hadn't occurred to us because we were just so emotionally involved in the situation, we would not have this beautiful new home.  You knew you had our business.  You knew you would be able to help us find a home in Kennewick to purchase, but you also knew how badly we wanted this house.  You, and you alone made it happen.  As it turned out, our home in California did sell, and it closed escrow a mere four weeks later.  We are so grateful that you were our agent.  You provided us with the highest level of service, professionalism, care and patience.  We highly recommend your services.  Thank you again for making our family's dream a reality.

I would like to take this opportunity to praise Brenda Berk for an excellent job well done.  My husband and I needed to sell our home in Texas, have a move-in ready home waiting for us in Tri-Cities, and have all this happen at the same time!  Brenda was extremely patient and easy going with our unique situation and provided several different options to make the transaction smooth.  She was in contact with our listing agent in Texas on a weekly basis to be sure all was being done to sell our home, she was always available to show homes when we requested, and always willing to do the extra research on homes we were interested in such as utility bills, estimated taxes, and any extra costs that we may incur.

Our family has always sold and bought homes by-owner, and were apprehensive about working with a realtor.  This quickly dissolved after my first conversation with her on the phone.  She was the only realtor I had talked with who was willing to go to a home and take pictures and send them to me in Texas.  She always followed up with us via email and stayed in contact even when we were unsure of our selling/buying situation.
